My work during my e-Fellowship:

A look at how ICTs can support reluctant writers to find their voice. I found my focus changed from just looking at under-achieving students to looking at other students who were high achieving, but often reluctant to write as well.

My Current Educational and e-Learning Interests:

I will continue my observations regarding writing and the use of ICTs but in looking ahead to next year and beyond I'm interested in how to work with students in an open-plan, student-led environment, where students are learning in groups of need or passion rather than in age or level restricted groups. I'll be doing some work later this year combining my Year 5 class with one of our NE classes and working/planning some classes together.

Next year I'm going to be working with another teacher in setting up a collaborative learning space that encompasses both our classrooms - ~660 km apart. This is going to be an exciting and scary step out of my comfort zone.

I'm also going to be involved in setting up a learning hub with two other teachers at my school - we will be teaching students from Year 2 to Year 6.
